RS at the movies

Film of the month:

The Simpsons has always been one of the best programs on TV, dealing with a lot of important issues in an unpatronising way. The good news is that the Simpsons movie is every bit as good as the tv shows.

As with any single episode, there are lots of ideas here, including Grandpa's religious experience. The movie has an environmental theme, with Homer turning Springfield into the most polluted city in the history of the planet.

We're even treated to Lisa's slideshow "An Irritating Truth." The DVD is out on December 10.
