The Puzzle of Ethics, Peter Vardy - There's a 10-page chapter on Situation Ethics. It's not Vardy's favourite theory, but he presents it accurately and includes criticisms. |

AS/A2 Philosophy of Religion and Religious Ethics for OCR: Study Guide Bob Bowie- Less than a page on Situation Ethics. This is heavily cropped from Bowie's Ethical Studies. Why so short? The Foundation section is the weakest part of the book. |

Ethical Studies (Second Edition) Bob Bowie- Much more in here (12 pages), and easy for students to access, explaining the theory with an evaluation too. Less of a challenge than Vardy - larger text, clearer structure, chapter summary at the end - but consequently less satisfying for the more able student. |

Moral Problems, Michael Palmer - No section on Situation Ethics (this book has only 5 chapters), yet a wonderful excerpt from Fletcher's 'Ethical Aspects of Genetic Controls'. Challenging reading. |
