Why we need tsunamis

We watched a documentary about the Tsunami called "Tsunami: Where was God?".  A Catholic scientist said:

If we didn’t have a crust that moved, ultimately with erosion the whole surface of the planet would be basically smooth.  Given the amount of water on it, it would probably be marsh land all over, so you could have some simple forms of life but you certainly couldn’t have complex animals like us.  And then also it replenishes the sort of elements on the surface that we need.  If there were no recycling of the crust then basically the whole planet would become infertile after a certain period of time.

This means that if we had a flat land we wouldn't exist at all and nothing would. Some people believe that we need Tsumanis and earthquakes etc to renew life and start again, which is why we laso have disieses like cancer. However some might argue that if God had wanted a perfect world, he would have found a way to make one. He could have made a world where it was possible for humans to live without Tsumanis and disasters.

Many people belive that people in the Tsunami dies for a reason such as they did something to effend or upset God or there family did but then again many people belive that so many people were unable to do this. God may not be able to help although he mad the world, he might not have the powers to.If God doesn't like what he made then he may not be helping us in disaters. Many say that the Tsunami spread a felling world wide helping us to realy fell lucky for waht we have and not take the good things in life for granted.
