Students should learn:
  • through experience how a faith community feels its beliefs are expressed through the place of worship and the worship which takes place there
  • to appreciate the particular atmosphere of a place of worship and respect its significance for the faith community

Students:
  • apply knowledge in order to identify different parts of the place of worship
  • experience the atmosphere of the place of worship and explain own reflections about its atmosphere and the particular atmosphere of a place of prayer
  • explain in writing, for readers who did not attend the visit, how a place of worship affects the lives of believers today
